To all of the faithful followers of this blog, I wanted to apologize for my posting inconsistency his year. I have found it almost impossible to blog, while attempting to write my first book proposal.
WRITING A BOOK PROPOSAL IS MY CURRENT EVEREST!
It is a mountain I have purposefully chosen and one completely foreign to me;
yet, I climb on.
“LITTLE DID I KNOW” is the understatement of the year; I started out completely clueless to the book writing process but I wouldn’t give back the BOOK PROPOSAL challenge if I could.
As I continue to climb my EVEREST, set to reach summit July 19-23 at She Speaks 2017 , I am asking for your prayers. Please join me in circling the creative process and ask God to give me HIS WISDOM, not the wisdom of this world. Please co-pray alongside me that every word I write will be DIVINELY inspired and that, like the prophet Micaiah, this will be my mantra:
“As surely as the Lord lives, I will say (write) only what the Lord tells me to say (write).” 1 Kings 22:14 NLT
I hope that the Lord will continue to write posts on my heart and through my hand during this EVEREST CLIMB, but if HE doesn’t, and if HE CALLS ME TO PREPARE IN SOLITUDE IN ORDER TO REACH THE SUMMIT, I pray that I will be faithful to do as HE asks.
I am so incredibly grateful for all of you who have encouraged me along the way to keep writing. God has used you, and continues to use you, as the wind beneath my wings.
I will most definitely update you on THE CLIMB AND THE VIEW FROM MY SHE SPEAKS 2017 EVEREST SUMMIT after July 23rd.
In the meantime, I would love to know how I can be praying for you. I do not say that lightly. It is one of the greatest blessings of my life to be entrusted with the heart cries of God’s family, my brother’s and sisters in Christ.
As I wrap up this post, I hope you feel my heart wrapped around yours. This on-line world, intended to connect us, can often feel sterile and impersonal but by sharing our prayer requests, offering up our pains, passions, pressures, praises etc… we connect in the spiritual, which is far closer than anything we see in the natural.
To God Be All The Glory
Trusting in the Lord and HIS promises, for me and for you.
“For it was I, the Lord your God,
who rescued you from the land of Egypt.
Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things.”Psalm 81:10
