The Messiah was right in front of them. They carefully watched so hard that they missed The Message, The Word, altogether! 

How often do we still do that when we start debating issues, policies, legalism, plateforms, and “who’s right?”

“Who’s right” doesn’t even matter. Righteousness and “being right” are not the same thing. Christ is righteousness! Seeking HIM is what matters. In Christ, we are HIS righteousness.

After a sermon one Sunday, I heard a man say, “I only heard one thing the preacher did wrong.”

 My heart broke! 

We will miss the sweet joy, love, grace and mercy message if we are constantly looking for the mess-ups. 

Lord help us through off the chains of legalism and embrace the beautiful adventure of LOVE! Amen
