Narrative Re-Writer
Pondering The Book of Ruth:
The Book of Ruth offers hope to anyone who has ever felt like they don’t fit in. The odds were stacked against Ruth in the culture she lived in BUT GOD chose the least likely as a link in the lineage of Christ.
The parts of our story that we think disqualify us may be the very thing God uses in us to deliver Christ through us in our generation. The key is putting our WHOLE STORY back in His hands, trusting HIM to use it anyway, anytime, anywhere with anyone He chooses!
Ruth went from poor to rich, widow to wife, childless to child-bearing, and outsider to inside the family of Christ.
God can and will change the narrative of every part, of every story that is laid in His lap. That’s what a Redeemer does.
Our Redeemer is a NARRATIVE RE-WRITER and that’s just one ridiculously awesome facet of Who He is.
