“Seek and Find the Savior” : Ornament and Poem

2017 Christmas Canvas ornaments! “Baby Blue and Burlap”
Will have them at Railroad Antique on Nov. 9th art show:) @rrsantiques
Wanted to start a new little Christmas Tradition with the baby Jesus ornament:)
We have a pickle we hide each year and the child who finds it first gets to open the first present. It’s an old German tradition. Google it:) I thought this may be a fun alternative.

“Seek and Find the Savior” Christmas ornament :
Start a new Christmas tradition with this little keep-sake ornament
Hide Him in your tree on Christmas morning. The first one to seek and find the savior gets to be the GIFT GIVER, handing each person their Christmas gifts.
“Seek and Find the Savior” ornament poem:
Here’s a little token
to help you train your eye.
looking for That Jesus
down low and way up high
Our God is a promise keeper
and he says he can be found.
Ask the Holy Spirit
to help you look around
The treasure that is yours
when you find this on your tree
Is you become the giver
to your whole family
This gift that you have gleaned
is available everywhere
You sought and found a savior
And now it’s time to share!

These all turned out so good! I am not sure how the kids will agree to forgo the pickle tradition, but I bet we can introduce this one as another one. Love you, Jay
