“Look up!” February 11

The enemy loves to capitalize on anything that takes our eyes off Christ.

He aims to devour, derail, distract, discourage, and depress.

BUT CHRIST CAME AND THE VICTORY IS OURS IN HIM…

In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit that comes to devour. The enemy has no power over us:

“When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.” (Psalm 27:2)
In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of derailment. The enemy has no power over us:

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Cor.10:13)

In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of distraction. The enemy has no power over us:

“So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time.” (James 4:7 MSG)

In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of discouragement. The enemy has no power over us:

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”(Deut.31:8)

In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of depression. The enemy has no power over us:

“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;”(2 Cor.4:8-9)

Look up! Listen!

Fix your eyes on and lean in to hear the ONE who has already won the war for you!

  1. Amen! And the devil will use who ever is available. This is why it’s so important to put on our Armour everyday and also be busy spreading His Good News. I recently started blogging about two weeks ago as a means to encourage others in Christ. I want to invite you to check out my blogs, and if interested to follow me back. I believe that it is important to support others on the site because we all are trying to further the kingdom of God. Keep up your great efforts for Him🙂🎈
