Let me tell you a story:

Someone asked:

Do you believe there is a person named Melissa Tepool, because I’ve never met her or seen a picture of her?

And my response :

Of course there is. I know there is a MELISSA TEPOOL because I’ve met her.  I talk to her and she is my friend. In fact, we spend so much time together that people tell us that we look alike:)

(this would be me and Melissa Tepool-please whatever you do, do not stop reading here!!!)

Now hear THE REST OF THE STORY:

Someone asked :

Do you believe there is a person named Jesus Christ, because I’ve never met HIM or seen a picture of HIM?

And my response :

Of course there is. I know there is a JESUS CHRIST because I’ve met HIM. I talk to HIM and HE is my friend.

In fact, we spend so much time together that people tell us we look alike:)

Do you see it?

If you have not met Jesus, do you at least admit there is a possibility HE exists?

We have not met every person; so when someone we know talks about their best friend, do we say to them:

I’m sorry but I do not know _____(their best friends name), so they do not exist.
OF COURSE WE DON’T SAY THAT.

We probably say :

Man I sure would like to meet him, based on the way you talk about him.
And then we naturally introduce our BEST FRIEND!
