Chewing on Luke 20 and 2 Cor. 5 this morning. Jesus tells us to be aware of self-righteous leaders and not to follow their example. We still respect them as people and treat them kindly; yet He tells us not to do what they do. Man-made tradition is not always synonymous with God’s truth!
Lord, please show me what this looks like in everyday, ordinary, walking around life! Thank you Jesus for modeling servant-leadership for us. Please help me live for the life of another at all times, putting aside my rights; so that I can love extravagantly clothed in Your righteous robes.
I believe the righteous robes of Christ are tear-stained, torn and bloodied, because Jesus spent His time bent down in compassion with the least of these!

May our 2019 Lenten journey be one of growing in the knowledge of God, getting to know the heart of our Heavenly Father and examining the life of Christ; so that our lives starts to look more like His.
Since we are made in the image of God, this is our destiny: We are made for this!
Our lives will make someone or something KNOWN; let it be JESUS!
