The straight line of the horizon
How the sky touches sea.
The wind that makes a whistle
The breath that blows the tree.
The symphony of sights and sounds
Cascading from the clouds.
The golden glow of Glory
Makes the Master Painter proud.
When ray and rain collide
Light decides to bend.
A kaleidoscope of color
A rainbow with no end.
Mountains that explode with heat
Glaciers made of ice.
A star that tethers planets
A moon reflecting light.
Waves as tall as giants
Red Oaks reaching for the sky.
The scent of water beckons roots
Even when it’s dry.
Love, life, birth and death
laughter, tears and grace.
Freedom, faith and hope
Eternal time and space.
Wonder leaves us speechless
Yet we search for words to say.
We long to tell God’s Story
