Our City On A Hill
In 2014 I attended Catalyst Conference with a friend, Katie Taylor. We came home with hearts on fire and “Our City On A Hill” was birthed out of the overflow.
Below is the heart behind our community site, a community site founded on, by and for Christ. We are simply Co-laborers with HIM and a great cloud of witnesses in “Our City”!
**One of our prayers for this “grace place on the web” was that it might be a catalyst for others to do the same kind of thing in their own cities.

How OCOAH came to be:
OurCityOnAHill was created out of the desire to make Christ known and unite believers of all walks of life in the name of Jesus in a place with no walls. “That they may be one as we are one.” (John17:22). We believe if we can see ourselves as one body, we can come together as a united and more powerful force to reach the lost and be a true city on a hill. This is a place to connect to God’s word, each other, pastors, testimonies, ministries, prayers, dreams, events and where Christ is moving in our city. Welcome!
Our team has been knit together by our common faith in Jesus Christ, God the Son, as our Lord and Savior. We share a common love of the One who has called us out of darkness and into His wonderful light, and a common respect for the authority of Scripture which we believe to be inerrant and God-breathed. We want to hear the different voices of our city who believe in Christ. This is not a site about doctrinal differences within the Christian faith, but about unity in Christ whom we all serve. OurCityOnAHill was created to celebrate what we have common: faith in Jesus Christ and hope in the Gospel that has the power to transform one person at a time in our city.
We invite YOU to join us in sharing Christ and His light. God has given each of us unique gifts, passions, talents, trials and spheres of influence to be agents of change in the place where we live.

We see the body of Christ like an orchestra. We all have different instruments to play and when we tune our lives to Jesus, a beautiful sound is created. We invite you to share your story, your dreams, your events, your ministry, your church, your passions, your light and your voice. Join us in uniting around our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and in seeking, serving and sharing His radiant light!
