My blogging goal last year was to post a word picture with my quiet time take-away every day of 2015.  God and I accomplished that goal together.  He was faithful and He spoke and I simply shared where He was speaking to me, hoping that it might add value to someone else’s world as well.

Figuring out the best way to share those word pictures was a process.  For some reason I started by sharing them on a page, not a post, but soon realized that was not the best format.   This is all part of God calling me to “take the journey before the people.”  Check out

Word Picture Archive

For some reason I feel God wants me to leave the process up for all to see.  So many times I have wanted to delete or reformat the beginnings of this blog, but God keeps telling me to leave it, so that we can see how HE continues to show up and grow me and change me.  I believe HE is asking me to give HIM maximum glory by working out the kinks before the people.

 Blog Goal for 2016:

I plan to post 1 post per week for 52 weeks.  But there is more.

I began painting in 2015, and I shared some of the reasons why, as well as a photo gallery of the crosses that were birthed in the process, in the page links below:

I leave for Costa Rica January 16, 2016 on a mission trip and painting helped me raise my funds in order to answer the call to GO AND EXALT HIS NAME TO THE NATIONS.

I found out that I really liked painting during this process;

therefore I asked God:

How should I incorporate this new found love of painting with the writing DNA YOU HAVE already revealed that YOU wove into my tapestry?

During an early morning reading session, my husband confirmed my desire to mesh my painting and writing.  He suggested that I paint something that visually expressed each of the 52 posts for 2016.  I thought that was an excellent idea.

In conclusion, I will summarize my blogging goals for 2016:

52 posts, 1 per week

52 paintings, 1 per week

 All I have to say, is that this is definitely BRAND NEW to me!  Things are ready to BURST OUT and I am not going to miss it-not on my life!
