Reasons to Write
Reasons to write
The job of a scribe when they gather their tribe
Is to encourage, empower and educate
To stir up love and snuff out hate!
To deepen the shallow
To work through pain
To lift the low
To see sun in the rain
To capture our moments
To encourage with hope
To grieve with the grieving
To help others cope
To give words to laughter
To describe a sound
To texturize flat
To set free the bound
To shine light on injustice
To brainstorm a plan
To implement change,
Believing I can.
To create something beautiful
To tell a story or 2
To reach for the stars
To paint a new view
To dream the impossible
To find gold in the past
To add value in the present
And leave something that lasts!
To motivate, innovate, anticipate with pen
Is the glorious gift writing births from within!
