Be Kind

At the end of my days,

I pray

That God can say:

“She erred on the side of kindness!”
What breaks your heart? What have you committed to that you have decided:

NO MORE-NOT ON MY WATCH!!!

If you don’t know, please hit your knees and boldly ask the Lord the BREAK YOUR HEART where HIS breaks and HE is faithful and will open your eyes to a “trouble in this world “.

If HE CALLS YOU TO IT -HE EQUIPS YOU TO DO IT!

HE has strategically placed you where you are, with your skill set and a passion beyond your REACH-that is  where you depend on HIM!

I grew up with no social media but let me tell you something-if every mistake I ever made was broadcasted I would have crumbled. Be honest, so would you!

If we call ourselves Christians, the last thing we should be guilty of is kicking the downcast when they are laying face down in a pit of their own doing or a pit they were thrown into.

God reached down and met us in our mess through HIS SON to pick us up, pay our price, take our place and clothe us in HIS righteousness. The least we could do is extend a hand to the pit-dweller, lift them up and out and share our “righteous robe GIVER” with them !

I would rather be falsely accused by the world of condoning someone’s sin then rightly accused by God of stoning the shameful!

May we make one of our goals in life to reach the grave all out of love because we gave it all away and all out of breath because we breathed life into every soul we encountered, by the power of the Holy Spirit within us!

I don’t want to see one more suicide as a result of bullying, suffocating shame or hopelessness!

NOT ON MY WATCH!

The hope of Jesus Christ is the ONLY THING THAT SAVED MY LIFE!

A little kindness goes a long way and when that hopeless, lonely, shameful soul asks us why we are being kind, may we boldly say:

Come

Meet a Man

Who told me, in the most loving tone,

Everything I ever did, my bucket list of Scarlet letters,

Could this be the Savior?
Without hesitation my answer to that question is:

“You dang skippy” (not even sure what that means but I think it means-you better believe it 🙂 HE IS MY SAVIOR AND HE WANTS TO BE YOURS TOO!

As followers of Christ, we have the Hope of the world living inside us; therefore we are “herefore” HOPE OFFERING!

Dear Lord,

I’m leaning in. My heart is broken. I’m not exactly sure what to do or how to do it but I want to see bullying and condemning and gossiping and cyber smashing stop while I’m on the planet! Show me opportunities to be an instrument of love, grace and hope and give me the strength to DO SOMETHING!
